It is one thing to teach a principle of what you should do, but unless you have a real understanding of it, you cannot maintain obedience. The Law of First Things is the key to understanding the principle of the first fruit and the tithe. God demands first place in our lives; He wants to be your number one priority. When we keep first things first, we bring our lives into divine order and position ourselves to receive God’s blessings. We can’t have God’s blessings if we violate His law.
