Is it possible that you have missed your blessing and you are refusing to do what God is telling you do?  Is your spirit open to His voice or do you tune God’s voice out?  If you are struggling to receive the blessings, have you done a self-check to see why your spirit is closed to the voice of God?  There could be a number of reasons for you not to receive the blessing from God.

Remember in Genesis 27:30-36 when Jacob was caught in his own lies until he had an all-night fight with an angel and realized how chaotic his life was?  This story demonstrates how Jacob was dogmatic in his beliefs and refused to give in no matter what.  However, the light finally began to shine through for Jacob to come to his wits.  He realized he was caught up in his own stupor and needed the healing hands of God.  Even though he had money he needed favor that money couldn’t buy.

There are many believers and non believers that are desperate for God’s blessings.  Unfortunately, many do not take the right approach to claim their gifts from God.  Are you trying to deal with your struggles with human will power?  Why not put your trust in the healing power of God?  Satisfaction is guaranteed all the time!  Have you had a chance do some soul searching and come to the realization that you are fighting against the force and voice of God almighty?

No matter what season it is, God keeps his promises.  In Genesis 41:55-56, God not only prepared Joseph for a famine, he allowed Joseph to help other people get through critical times.   Most of us miss our blessing because we do not have the insight to see and believe how God is guiding us; just as he did for Ruth in Ruth 1, verse 16, during a time of famine.  Notice how she committed herself to the word of God.  Her diligence provided favor from God through connections.  Ruth went from rags to riches by marrying a wealthy man by the name of Boaz.  David came closer to God during 3 years of famine.   He was full of life and was quite wealthy all the way to his death.

It is a fact that the natural world is in a state of flux; it always has and always will be.   It is rather easy to get sucked into the world’s economic ruins by tuning into the spoon-fed drama over the airways around the clock.  Non believers and some Christians miss their blessings simply because they do not know who to trust and believe.  Their misguidance and lack of faith in God leads them to a dead end.   No matter what state the world’s system is in, God’s system does not waiver.  During the time the world is going through its phases, God’s people are walking with their head up and looking forward to the next day.  Challenging times do not change the reality but reality in the proper spiritual frame of mind will always reverse challenging times.  So who are you listening to?  What system are you putting your faith on the line for and do you know why?

Yes, we live in an age of skepticism.  But remember, God is the same yesterday, today and he will not change tomorrow.  You should be even more willing to put your faith in God for everything.  The average poor person remains in a state of poverty simply because they do not understand God’s system of giving.  They get locked into the “death cycle” of holding on to their money and are not aware of it.  Are you getting robbed of your blessing by listening to others who are in the same boat you are in?   Sowing seeds in the Kingdom of God is the only way to receive the abundance that only God can offer.
